@shujaagreen The Rezound is a great phone, so good for you!
HTC has said that the Rezound will get the Android 4 update, but there is no official timetable yet for that. I think it will happen by the end of March, but that’s just a guess on my part based on what I read in the blogs.

Hey Bob, I actually have the htc rezound. When I bought it the employee at the Verizon store told me I should get the android 4.0 , will that ever happen? Btw thanks a lot you convinced me to get the rezound with your review and I love it!

@AllAboutCameras I’m not sure what you meant by your comment. All I was saying is with my previous verizon phones I could not surf the internet while talking on the phone at the same time while on a 3G Verizon network however with the phone I currently have…the Rezound…I am able to talk and surf while on a 3g verizon network…

@sumeetgohri Actually, I appreciate the feedback, and your comment was kind and constructive. No problems at all with it. In general, I’m a fairly good talker but occasionally stumbles happen… and drive me crazy. Someday, I want to record a “behind-the-scenes” video so that you can see how these videos are put together.

@wirefly Bob…You are doing a great job, I enjoy your videos, they are very informative and fun to watch. Please do not take the criticism around the minor stumbles in the words etc to heart. Most people do not realize how hard it is to do a descriptive and conversational video like this without an audience feedback without sounding robotic. Keep on doing the great work…I am a fan.

Really good and informative video but you stumble with your words a lot and mix things up. Just a suggestion/advice is to maybe make little note/script with key points like OSv and specs.
@HaikosVideos HTC has said that the Rezound is on the list to receive Android 4, but there is no firm schedule or procedure. I expect that it will happen in the 1st quarter of 2012, but that’s based on what I read in the blogs.

I’ll go for the Rezound, it has better design, better audio, better camera, and soon (hopefully) a better software with ICS!
BTW the nexus’ hardware looks cheap and simple.
Not sure if anyone has talked about this but I have the Rezound and I can talk/surf at the same time while on a 3g network…this is a major plus…talking on the phone while using navigation or even sending/recieving pictures or email is really cool and a major factor in my decision to keep this phone.
i hate how theres no SD card slot on the nexus ): if there was it would be my number one choice

@SpyderWeiss Right now, the Rezound is $100 on Wirefly with a new 2-year contract, which is an outstanding price. (Prices change all the time, so don’t hold me to this one.) The only other thing I can offer is a coupon code to get a free Bluetooth headset: YOUTUBEBLUE12. Nexus have edge against rezound on all of em.

I’m planning on picking up my Rezound soon, any chance the price is going to drop on Wirefly for existing customers? Right now it’s $10 cheaper if I order directly through Verizon due to my new every two discount.
I would like to point out a couple of things I’ve notice while reviewing both phone that favor the Rezound. First. While in 3G, the Rezound can talk and surf the web at the same time. Second, the Rezound can automatically update your mp3s album art based on song title and album. Third, the HTC Rezound has a wide angle camera lens that captures 25% more picture in snapshots than the Galaxy Nexus. Fourth, hold down power and tap.home.to.take a screen grab of your phones screen with the HTC, this means text, funny Facebook post, interent reasearch, you name it can all be saved as pictures.
