VERIZON , T mobile , AT&T
One last thing…. Although it’s not too big a deal, its something that as of yet I haven’t seen any review point out but, the Galaxy Nexus’s 4.6″ screen along with ICS on-screen menu buttons doesn’t really offer 4.6″ of actual screen space if U think about it. That 4.6″ screen probably averages to a 4.0″ screen when U factor in the percentage of screen space wasted on the onscreen controls. Where as the HTC Amaze’s 4.3″ screen is 4.3″ of actual screen space because it’s not wasted with onscreen
Personally I’ll happily trade the super amoled screen for the Amaze’s qHD Super LCD display, with the added extra features (hdmi, 8mp camera, physical buttons, yea I prefer them, ect) Not to mention HTC Sense phones usually see more rom options, (once it’s rooted)… Amaze owners will have choices between Sense based roms & CM9 based roms, whereas in contrast I still have yet to find a semi-stable Sense rom for a Nexus One or Nexus S
First the HTC Amaze is one of the first non-Nexus phones to include the previously ‘Nexus exclusive’ NFC chip aka Google Wallet feature, it also includes an HDMI port (which the Nexus doesn’t have) & a 8mp camera as opposed to the Galaxy Nexus’s 5mp camera. (Food for thought: the Nexus One had a 5mp camera in 2010).
Besides the Galexy Nexus’s screen (which is gorgeous), I can’t justify choosing it over the HTC Amaze, seeing as how the Amaze has almost all the same specs & some extras…
@IradAtzmon I don’t know I’m leaning toward the Bionic because I think it would fit me and my life better, but there are so many phones out here promising to do something, and not all of them come through. So it is very confusing. :/
@SkullsNCrossbones23 it depends. the battery life is terrible on the amaze, but it has great processing power. They’re both great phones. it’s all about the UI I guess. What do you prefer? GingerBlur or sense 3.0?
I have Atrix so I know the the gingerblur is an eye candy, but it has several lags. good question. I don’t know which one i prefer… what do you think? Bionic or amaze? or maybe sensation? or photon 4G?
