Apple iPad 2 Special Event 3/2/11 Part 3: New iPad 2 iOS 4.3 Update

After Jobs walked us through the hardware features of the new iPad in Part 2, he introduced Scott Forstall to go over the new iOS 4.3, which will also be available to iPad and iPhone 4 and 3Gs users. The big improvement is in the Java runtime engine, which is claimed to be 2x faster than the previous version. Also improved is Airplay and iTunes Home Sharing. To go with the new cameras there’s now Photobooth as an included app and Facetime.
